Joshua Rosa is a second-year student whose background in broadcasting led to him being recruited to write for the paper. With a passion for sports, Rosa enjoys covering a variety of athletic events and eventually became the Assistant Sports Editor. His primary beat for the paper is soccer. In addition to writing, Rosa lends his voice to live broadcasts, doing play-by-play announcing for Valley College’s football and men’s basketball teams through the school’s broadcasting department. He hopes to pursue a career in sports journalism or sports broadcasting after graduation.
