Sydne Santiago is a photographer, retoucher, and photo illustrator. She has always been drawn to photography, and began taking photos early on in life. She decided to move from Michigan to Los Angeles in 2020 to begin studying photography and perusing it as a career. She brings her love for abstract and fine art photography into her projects. During her studies she also found that she enjoyed using photoshop as a medium for art. She uses it for both retouching and she creating photo illustrations, posters, and collages. In her everyday life she likes to craft, dance, spend time with loved ones, and she is a Transformers fanatic. Outside of photography, she works as a nanny. She feels that her time with children helps remind her to create authentically and without self judgment. Sydne is now on the photography team of both the Valley Star at Los Angeles Valley College and the Collegian at Los Angeles City College, working alongside writers to bring their articles to life visually.
